The combined skills of the nurses include: dressings, suture removal, injections, childhood and travel immunisations , ear syringing, cervical smears and breast examinations, family planning advice, coil checks, cap fitting and checks, diet and weight counselling, blood pressure checks.

Advice on stopping smoking, diabetes, asthma, menopause and hormone replacement therapy is also available.
