Our Services

Travel Health & Vaccination Service

As we are now able to offer an NHS Travel Health and Vaccination service. Please read this section carefully to understand the process required to access this service.
You will first need to download the Travel Form or collect one from reception at the Surgery. Once completed please hand it into reception AT LEAST 6 weeks prior to your travel. This allows the nurse to assess all that is required for your destination and offer you an appointment with plenty of time prior to your departure.
Once the Nurse has received your completed Travel Form, she will contact you and arrange a suitable appointment to see you. In this time she will undertake a risk assessment regarding your Travel plans, your general health and give advice on NHS travel vaccines required which are then administered in the appointment.
Vaccines such as: Hepatitis B, Meningitis ACWY, Rabies, Yellow fever and Japanese B or Tick-borne encephalitis are not covered by the NHS and will need to be administer via a Private Vaccine service elsewhere. This also applies to malaria prophylaxis.
There are limited appointments for this service, therefore to avoid disappointment please allow 6 weeks at least before your planned departure.
Please follow the link for further information regarding your travel destinations –  https://staging.travelhealthpro.org.uk/countries
